We will..... learn about Class Procedures, syllabus, and rules.
Behavior:
We will... actively participate, listen, follow studio rules, and stay on task. Cel phones will be put away or can be charging at the charging station.

Engaging Activity(Warm-up):
  • Find seat according to Seating Charts
  • Log on to Google Classroom to see todays Objectives.
  • Check Skyward for DUE DATEs and current grades.
Lecture:
  • Return signed Student Driving Release, Equipment Usage Form, & Parent Contact Slips
  • Update 1ST SIX WEEKS PRODUCTION/WORK ETHICS SCHEDULE - must keep a daily log of activities in this class. This counts towards your participation grade.
  • Be sure that you copied the AAVP Stuff folder to your Google Drive Folder
  • Discuss and walk through Mr. Coursey's Class website and resources, discuss class procedures
  • Discuss MSEB (Mesquite Student Entertainment & Broadcasting) Logo and T-shirt design - Directions on Google Classroom
  • Discuss and cover DSLR Cameras & Lens Basics
    • View Camera Basics Video (7:13)
    • Everyone Go to Equipment Room for Camera, Lense, & Battery. I will give you an SD Card. Discuss how to attach lenses, insert batteries, and SD card.
    • View Canon Rebel T5i: Beginner's Tutorial Video (4:28) Adjust camera settings as you watch video to learn functions.
      • 10-15 minutes - Go outside and experiment with various Exposure Settings
    • View Photography 101 Lenses Video (6:51) - learn about lense types and purposes.
  • Camera Shots & Angles Lesson (50 min)- This lesson will discuss the importance of how to use a video camera to create interesting, creative, and meaningful shots.
Closure/Produce:
Team/Invididual Assignment: Introduce & Discuss:
  • Update 1ST SIX WEEKS PRODUCTION/WORK ETHICS SCHEDULE - must keep a daily log of activities in this class. This counts towards your participation grade.
  • Discuss building portfolios - show Mr. Coursey's video Portfolio, Complete the YouTube Channel Portfolio Assignment
  • Discuss MSEB (Mesquite Student Entertainment & Broadcasting) Logo and T-shirt design - Directions on Google Classroom
  • Turn on Tricaster, Discuss and show equipment, discuss Studio Roles Information sheet (quiz next class)
  • Discuss/show- Equipment/Procedures
  • Estabilish end of day procedures: log off, keyboard & mouse, chairs, clean area, and check out equipment 20 min before leaving.

Individual Learning:
  • Login to GMetrix. From the “Start a Test” screen, type your access code provide on your sheet into the “Enter a New Access code” field and click next. Choose Training, Premiere Practice test 1. Practice the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 Certification questions.
