Course Description: If you are an amateur film maker, want to get into broadcasting, or just want to know how to create an awesome media presentation, Audio/Video Production is the class for you. This full year course will teach you how to make videos like the professions do on industry standard software and filming equipment. This course offers opportunities to compete nationally in competitive video events for scholarships and get adobe certified. Students can learn how to make videos on green screen and master special effects that will bring your imagination to a visual reality. Course Description: This course develops advanced proficiencies in designing, importing, and manipulating text, graphics, audio, and video used in presentations, multimedia productions, and desktop publishing. Software used in this course will include Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, and Apple products. Students will incorporate video and audio effects into their projects through the use of scanners, digital cameras, digital video cameras, and internal and external audio mediums.
