Overview & Objectives:
We will..... learn and apply the video produduction processes of pre-production, production, and post-production.
Behavior:
We will... actively participate, listen, follow studio rules, and stay on task. Cel phones will be put away or can be charging at the charging station.

Engaging Activity(Warm-up):
  • Find seat according to Seating Charts
  • Log on to Google Classroom to see todays Objectives.
  • Check Skyward for DUE DATEs and current grades.
Lecture:
  • Return signed Student Driving Release, Equipment Usage Form, & Parent Contact Slips. Return $30 Class fees. Overdue
  • Return signed State Fair Field Trip permission forms. If you don't return this, you can't go!
  • Discuss CTE Middle School Expo - sign up on form from Google Classroom if you would like to help.
  • Don't forget BPA dues are due by October 17. Please decide on which events you want to compete in. Everyone is strongly encouraged to join.
  • Review Last times lesson on Interviewing and equipment.

  • Continue discussing Interviews
    • Discuss Interview Assignment for AVP2
      • View examples
      • Pick a person to interview and create an Interview video.
      • Google Classroom
        • Download shot list to plan your video
        • Complete the AVP Project Group Signup Form
    • News Package Assignment for Practicum. -The big project for this 6wks is going to be a creating a news program.
      • We are going to work together as a class to create a full blown news program Episode that will include:
        • Stories, interviews, Sports Highlights, News Anchors, Lower Third Titles, Intro, and End Credits.
        • Everyone must do their part. If the quality isn't up to standards, you will be asked to redo it. Roles will include: Editing, Anchor People, Interviews, Script Writers, Digital Animators(for Intro and Lower Third titles), and researchers.
        • The Plan is that if everyone does their part, we will be able to create a professional quality news show.
  • Setup equipment in studio, discuss DSLR audio settings, & practice interviews.
  • Continue completing the 2nd SIX WEEKS PRODUCTION/WORK ETHICS SCHEDULE - must keep a daily log of activities in this class. This counts towards your participation grade.

Individual Learning:
  • Login to GMetrix. From the “Start a Test” screen, type your access code provide on your sheet into the “Enter a New Access code” field and click next. Choose Training, Premiere Practice test 1. Practice the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 Certification questions.
