  1. What type of car would you like to buy? (Be specific—list year and make, features, size of engine, color, and so on.) See example below:
    • YEAR: 1988
    • MAKE: Honda CRX
    • FEATURES: Sun Roof, Spoiler, Stereo System
    • SIZE OF ENGINE: 4 cylinder
    • TRANSMISSION: Standard

  3. What is the final price you are likely to pay for the vehicle? Based on this price, what would the monthly payments be, and for how long?
  4. List all of the features and the cost of each feature.
  5. List the expenses of operating this vehicle for the next year, including fuel and oil, regular maintenance, insurance, and other necessary costs.
  6. Determine how many miles you would drive in a given year, including where you would go, how often, and the distance.
  7. Compute your cost per mile of driving the car (total costs divided by miles driven).
